Course Description: In this English elective, we will begin the class by familiarizing ourselves with aspects of abnormal psychology. The we will move onto literature, not only looking at characters in literature who are unusual in a variety of ways, but also at the authors who personal obstacles are finding their way into their works. Our discussions will explore what society considers “normal’ behavior and how that is reflected in the works we will read.

Grading: Your grade will be based on a total number of points earned. Summative assessments will be worth more points than formative assessments.
Late Work
- Daily Assignments - It is important for daily assignments to be finished on time. Late daily assignments will receive full credit until the unit test. After that, they will receive partial credit.
